After 29 years of unwavering dedication, Gotamco Elementary School bids a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Bernie Sampaga, fondly known as Tatay Bernie and Kuya Bernie, who retired last February 5, 2025. His exceptional commitment and selfless service to our school community will forever be remembered.
Tatay Bernie was more than just a School Aide. Over the years, he wore many hats—acting as our security guard, janitor before we had any, sometimes even as a clerk and property custodian. No task was too big or small for him. His willingness to do whatever was needed for the school made him an indispensable part of our family.
His dedication and hard work have left an indelible mark on our school. Although a medical condition has compelled him to retire, his legacy of service and kindness will live on in our hearts.
Gotamco Elementary School extends its deepest gratitude to Tatay Bernie for his invaluable years of service. We wish him a happy and peaceful retirement, filled with the love and comfort he so richly deserves.
