Wesleyan College Donates Storybooks to Ignite Love for Reading at Gotamco
Gotamco Elementary School gratefully received a generous donation of storybooks from the Wesleyan College of Manila, bringing joy and excitement to our young learners. This thoughtful act aims to promote a love for reading and enhance literacy among our pupils, especially in the early grades where imagination and storytelling play a vital role in learning.

The storybooks, carefully selected by the donors, are a valuable addition to our school’s reading corner and library. They feature a wide range of genres and themes suited for elementary learners — from folk tales and fantasy adventures to moral-based stories and educational content. These books will surely inspire curiosity, creativity, and a passion for learning among our Gotamecian readers.
The donation was formally turned over during a short program attended by school administrators, teachers, and selected learners. In her message, our School Principal, Mrs. Lea Marcelo, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Wesleyan College of Manila for supporting the school’s reading and literacy programs.
This donation reflects the spirit of bayanihan and shared responsibility in shaping the future of Filipino learners. Gotamco Elementary School is truly thankful for this partnership and looks forward to more collaborations that uplift education and community development.
