A Model of Excellence: Best Practice Award in School Canteen Management
Our school continues to uphold excellence in all aspects of education, including health and nutrition. Last school year, we proudly received the Best Practice Award in School Canteen Management under the Rediscover Learning Program, recognizing our commitment to providing nutritious meals, promoting healthy habits, ensuring food safety, and fostering an environment that supports well-being.

At the core of this achievement is Master Teacher 1, Mrs. Amalia Batula, whose unwavering dedication made this recognition possible. Despite facing health challenges, she worked tirelessly—day and night—to ensure that our school canteen remained a model of efficiency, nutrition, and care for students. Her perseverance and passion for student welfare have truly made a lasting impact.
This success would not have been possible without the support of our School Principal, Mrs. Lea Marcelo, and SPTA President, Mr. Ver Maglines, who played crucial roles in improving and maintaining the quality of our canteen services. Their collaborative efforts have helped create a safe, healthy, and welcoming dining environment for students.
Winning this award is a testament to our school’s commitment to holistic student development, ensuring that proper nutrition and well-being go hand in hand with academic excellence.
