Gotamco Elementary School joined the #DepEdXmasTree, the program which the Department of Education initiated, the National Tree Planting, with a theme “A Christmas Gift for the Children” held at Gotamco Elementary School backyard, last December 6, 2023.  

The successful tree-planting event was led by the focal person Mrs. Amalia Batula and attended by dedicated teachers and selected learners.

Amidst the laughter and camaraderie, the tree-planting event at Gotamco Elementary School holds profound significance for both the local community and the environment. Beyond the act of planting saplings, this initiative contributes to a healthier ecosystem, cleaner air, and a vibrant learning environment for the students. The trees planted not only symbolize a commitment to sustainability but also serve as a living legacy for future generations.
